July 2017 saw Spirit carry out a 30 fitting LED lighting retrofit for a commercial property in Newbury, Berkshire. NCR Bodyshops wanted existing highbay lights in their warehouse to be replaced with new 220W LED equivalents.
The new fittings use 18,720kWh of electricity less each year, representing a 48% reduction on the old lighting. This means that the customer now benefits from annual savings of £2,297, which gives the systems a payback time of 4.4 years.
