I'm Abel, and I recently joined Spirit Energy as part of our technical design and sales team. I work closely with customers to design solar PV and battery systems that actually make sense for their home — the right panels, the right layout, the right setup for how they actually use energy.
Outside of work, I've got two hobbies that don't come up together very often: crocheting and monster trucks. One involves a lot of patience, careful counting, and the quiet satisfaction of watching something take shape row by row. The other involves watching enormous vehicles the size of small houses crush things at high speed, usually to a soundtrack of engine noise loud enough to feel in your chest. Somehow both keep me equally entertained, and depending on the evening I'm either halfway through a blanket or halfway through a bag of popcorn watching something get flattened. I haven't yet found a way to combine the two, though I like to think there's a market out there somewhere for a hand-crocheted monster truck cozy.
