Harry Raspin

Hi! I’m Harry, and I joined the Technical Sales team at Spirit Energy in June 2025. I graduated from my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Liverpool in 2022, before completing a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from The University of Exeter in 2024.

I’ve been passionate about renewable energy and sustainability from a young age, making it the basis of my academic studies. I have been lucky enough to undertake a wide range of exciting projects in this time. This has included helping an outdoor learning centre in Exmoor national park go off-grid using solar, wind and hydro energy, and completing a dissertation with a Cornish marine energy company, studying solutions for bi-directional tidal flows at their deployment site off North Wales.

Outside of work I enjoy rugby; mostly just watching these days, following my local club, but I still try and get involved in a bit of tag and touch rugby when I have time. I also spend a lot of time camping, surfing and hiking around Cornwall, Devon and west Wales.
