Hi, I’m James, and I joined Spirit Energy in 2025 as a Technical Sales Engineer. I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds, where I developed a real interest in renewable energy through a research project exploring the future of the sector.
At Spirit, I work in the residential team, designing and quoting solar PV systems that fit each customer’s home and goals. I enjoy the balance of using my engineering background for technical problem-solving while also helping people take practical steps towards cleaner energy.
Outside of work, I like to stay active, whether that’s on the rugby pitch, out running (I recently completed the Paris Marathon and I’m training for London next), or hiking in the outdoors. When I’m at home, you’ll usually find me cooking, baking, or exploring new tech.
