James Castle

Residential Sales Supervisor

Hi, I'm James. I joined Spirit Energy in 2025 as a Technical Sales Engineer and now help lead our residential sales team as Residential Sales Supervisor. I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds, where a research project on the future of the sector sparked my interest in renewable energy.

At Spirit, I design and quote solar PV systems tailored to each customer's home and goals. I enjoy combining my engineering background with technical problem-solving, while helping people take practical steps towards cleaner energy.

Outside of work, I like to stay active. These days that mostly means triathlon:
I recently raced IRONMAN 70.3 Costa Navarino in Greece and I'm already planning the next one. I also enjoy rugby, running and getting out hiking.
