In April 2018, Spirit installed a 6.48kWp in-roof PV system for a couple in Basingstoke. The 24 monocrystalline panels were fitted using the Viridian Clearline Fusion mounting, one of the most aesthetically pleasing integrated options.
The PV is supported by a SolarEdge inverter to optimise power output and one Tesla Powerwall to soak up excess daytime generation for later use. With the battery storage, we estimate 70% of solar generation will be used on site, meaning the system can provide 77% of the household’s annual usage.
