In December 2021, Spirit installed a complete renewable energy system for Ms B in Littlehampton - solar panels, battery storage and EV charging.
This was a high end PV system, with 20 SunPower Maxeon 3 panels, each high efficiency module rated at 400W. These are optimised by a SolarEdge inverter and protected from nesting birds by fitted mesh. The 8kWp array is expected to generate 9,040 kWh a year.
To soak up excess solar power, Ms B opted for Tesla Powerwall, our top recommended battery. This can also provide electricity in a power outage.
Finally, we also installed a zappi chargepoint, which is optimised for PV by its ability to divert excess solar energy straight into your electric car.
