In February 2019, Spirit installed a 29.9 kWp solar system for Jungle Jungle, a children’s soft play centre in Andover. The pitched industrial roof allowed for 98 panels, which are optimised with a SolarEdge inverter to get the maximum performance from each module. Generating over 24,000 kWh per year, the system should allow for 80% on site usage with the remainder exported to the grid. Output can be monitored via the SolarEdge portal, and the installation is estimated to be paid off in 6 years.
