In April 2016, Spirit were contracted to install a 9.6kWh battery system to complement an exisitng 8kWp solar PV system. The final design consisted of an Aquion battery together with a Victron charger.

After installation, the battery system allowed 70% of the electricity generated by solar to be used on site.

This was one of Spirit's first battery installs and it has an expected lifetime of 20 years.
