In August 2019, Spirit installed its first zappi version 2 at a house in Reading.
Mr B was drawn to the features of the zappi, particularly how it will futureproof his home for the addition of solar PV. He opted for the untethered version of the single phase 7k charger, with a universal socket that makes it suitable for most domestic installations. As a smart charger, it was eligible for the OLEV grant.
