In January 2021, Spirit kicked off the new year by installing a 3.15kWp solar PV system for a client in Wokingham. Mr W had previous experience with Spirit on commercial projects and had been thinking about getting solar panels at his own property for some time. His key drivers were sustainability and the return on investment.
The new solar system comprises 10 Longi 315W panels, a Growatt inverter and pigeon protection mesh to prevent birds nesting beneath the array. The system is estimated to generate 3,100kWh each year.
Mr W also benefited from the reduced VAT rate on solar for over 60s.
