In June of 2023, we installed a 42.08 kWp system for Connevans Limited. They are a firm specialising in the manufacture and sale of equipment for the deaf or hard of hearing. This is the second time Connevans had used our services to install a solar system, the first being back in 2015 but they have since expanded their operation on the site and wanted to expand their solar system in order to be as close to self-sufficient as possible.
Connevans were very happy with the install, and we were happy to help them with their business objectives and green ambitions for grid independence. With the initial system already outputting 27.08 kWp and having more than paid for itself since its installation in 2015, they look forward to an even shorter payback period with the new system, with the efficiency of the Trina panels greater than the older model that was used on the 2015 install and the increase in energy prices both helping to improve the payback period. We also helped them further shorten their payback period by referring them to an energy broker which led to an estimated payback period of just four years for the 2023 install.
