In April 2025, Spirit Energy installed a 52.65kWp solar PV system at Osbourne Court, a B&M care home.
The system consists of 117 x 450W monocrystalline panels mounted on the pitched roof, using brackets fixed to the rafters with over-roof mounting frames. The active PV cell area is approximately 234m².
The panels are connected to a Solis-25K-S5 inverter and a Solis-3P15K-S5 inverter, both located in a top-floor riser cupboard. Together, the system is expected to generate 48,954kWh of clean electricity each year.
This project will help Osbourne Court lower its carbon footprint while reducing operational costs, contributing to a more sustainable future for the care home.
